Light and shadow

(for adults)

The history of Bamberg is not only the history of a city but also the journal of a thousand years. The light artist and storyteller Norbert Götz illuminates this fascinating chronicle using the elements of contemporary shadow theatre: reflections, silhouettes and light refraction bring the most shattering and most uplifting events to life once again, all the events that made this town what it is today: a precious world heritage site. This unique performance takes place in the small chapel near the cathedral, because this is where it all began…

A live performance of images spanning the beginnings, the rise and flourishing of this world heritage city. Even the “unholy chapters” are not concealed. A declaration of love, based on historical fact and performed with great empathy. Humour, goose bumps and enthusiasm are all guaranteed!
